Bullistik Go For The Gold ‘Olympia’
Olympia, our beautiful black mask fawn girl is the first born daughter of our black & tan boy, ‘Tycoon’, out of our fire engine red girl, ‘Fire’. Olympia is the perfect combination of her parents, but in all honesty, she borders on a more masculine version of her mother, Fire.
That front end of Olympia’s just damn near puts any male Frenchie, that I have seen over the past 26 years, to shame. It is nearly impossible to get a chest like that on a ‘dog’ in this
breed, but for a ‘bitch’ to have that much UMPH, and at only 2.5 years old, all I can say is ‘DAYUM’, this girl is something very special.
Not only is her remarkable body something very unique, but it is no fluke. Olympia’s daughter, ‘Rain’ (red pied), is a stark reminder that genetics (DNA code) are everything when it comes to a breeding program. Good, bad, or indifferent, hereditary traits are a reality. This is true for both physical characteristics and hereditary health issues.
Olympia has been health screened through DNA testing for diseases that are known to occur in the French Bulldog breed. She is CLEAR for the following diseases:
|Degenerative myelopathy||WT/WT||Normal (clear)|
|Dilated cardiomyopathy||WT/WT||Normal (clear)|
|Hereditary cataracts||WT/WT||Normal (clear)|
|Multifocal retinopathy 1||WT/WT||Normal (clear)|
|Progressive retinal atrophy, Cone-rod dystrophy 4||WT/WT||Normal (clear)|
